Senior Moments

I forgot I had this! Been awhile, meantime I have spots on xanga and msn. Well I got some flonase today, some kind of steroid that should help my allergies.
Busy weekend ahead, got the three Carson grandkids for most of it, without mom/dad. Then Jess is supposed to come up on Sunday, and we can share the load.
I find myself wanting to say stuff, and then Holy spirit cautions me to say nothing, but to talk to my Father about the stuff. So I'm trying...

Life

I've been on this prism diet and I feel pretty good, and I think some weight loss is beginning to show. I fret about character (mine) but don't seem to want to do anything more about it.
I managed to organize some stuff today, though, and made it to Jessie's party where I spent a bunch of money for Christmas gifts. Last year's taxes still remain undone, though, I wish I would push through and quit procrastinating.

I think I may have offended some friends of ours without meaning to.....it's a situation where we've been invited on a cruise and I had asked if we could stop over at their place on the way to the friends' home, a mutual friend.....without meaning to, and because sometimes they are offended by stuff....but then I'm fretting about something that may not exist. Don't fret until you see the whites of their eyes.

The election junk makes me tired. The opposing party from my beliefs I decided has stopped maturing at around age 13, and they all got together in their immaturity and shouted "no fair" whenever someone stood up to their favorite bully.

We have been soooooooo blessed by God this year, I want to spread that blessing around.

Second try....

Ok that was annoying, I was typing away, and suddenly got one of those "oops" messages and everything disappeared.

Well I won't write it all again, but sheesh.....

Two weeks and counting

Well, in a little over 2 weeks, we'll be on our way to Galveston for the Get Caught Reading at Sea cruise, with our friends Wayne and Debbie Macomber. It's still hurricane season in mid-October, so I'm hoping we get by with nice calm weather for the 7 days we're out and about.

Coming up on another presidential election - listening to some of the news organizations and the talking heads gets tiresome. I only want to hear what people genuinely believe, not Stepford like drivel repeated over and over again - reminds me of the book '1984'

Things changing at my job but for the better. Things happening with my hubby also - he's got a job at a dam and will probably be working at various dams until June 2005. A real blessing, because - I have to get lots of dental work done and it's going to cost tons and tons of money, so when I asked God for money or new teeth (a miracle) he dropped this job in our laps. Thanks, God.

I watched an interview with Kim Clement on Elijah list today, he shared some interesing things, including the fact that he didn't like how Bush handled the Karla Tucker execution stuff. Even so, he obediently utters God's support of Bush as he prophesies (sp) Kind of like Balaam, though the reverse.....

Teaching Tribal school - love the students and the material. I'm happy they are learning the foundations of the Word of God.

It's late, I'm going to bed.
